Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the house, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers play against other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players do not need to worry about other, more knowledgeable people winning their $$$$.

One more Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to gamble on for a long time with basically a little amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the house is dealt seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the two card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
